Always plenty of happenings in Paradise! Here’s a few of the exciting things to do:
Step back in time 150 years to August of 1864. The Union fleet of 18 ships is closing in on Mobile Bay. The purpose is to close Mobile Bay to blockade running and to occupy the last major port not taken by Union forces: Mobile. But first, they must get past Fort Gaines and Fort Morgan at the mouth of the bay.
South Baldwin Community Theatre Young Adult Series wraps up with Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. August 1, 2, 8 & 9 @ 7:30 pm. August 3 and 10 (Sunday) @ 2:00 pm.
Gulf Coast Arts Alliance Art Market Saturday August 2nd at Meyer Park in Gulf Shores
The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation’s 17th Annual Professional Rodeo will be August 7th – 9th at the Foley Horse Arena. This event benefits the Foundation’s Peer Helper Programs in 46 schools across Baldwin County touching nearly 30,000 students!
